This Cambridge startup is building a ‘foundation model’ for the chest to speed drug trials

Cambridge’s Qureight has raised a $20m Series B to build an AI “foundation model” of the chest, one it can retune into new disease models in weeks to speed up lung and heart drug trials. Founded by two doctors rather than engineers, it already runs trials for AstraZeneca and Bristol Myers Squibb, and turned down US money to keep the round in London.
