Nvidia is paying Poolside $6bn to license the software it used to build AI models, hiring 109 of its staff, and investing $1bn in what is left. Poolside's investor letter insists this is not an acquisition. It is the third deal Nvidia has structured this way.

Broadcom seeks more than $60bn in debt to fund AI chips for Anthropic
Broadcom is in talks with lenders to raise more than $60bn in debt to finance AI chips for Anthropic and other companies, Bloomberg reports. Apollo and Blackstone may take part. The figures under discussion could bring the total to as much as $100bn.
