Israelis proudly call their country the ‘Startup Nation’ and there’s definitely an entrepreneurial buzz on the streets of Tel Aviv of a kind that is hard to find in many places outside Silicon Valley. Now Bizcamp Tel Aviv has launched as a way of connecting UK tech startups with their Israeli counterparts.
In its second year, the competition launches today and the ultimate winner will take part in an all-expenses-paid trip to Tel Aviv. There, they’ll take part in seminars, workshops and networking events with leading Israeli entrepreneurs and investors. They’ll also attend the exclusive DLD Tel Aviv conference and get to indulge in a spot of tourism too.
So. Much. Tech.
Some of the biggest names in tech are coming to TNW Conference in Amsterdam this May.
So, you’re a UK startup and like the sound of all this – how do you enter? Simply fill in the entry form and wait for the shortlist to be announced. Finalists will take part in a pitching competition at Google Campus in London on September 12th, with the eventual winner taking the trip one month later.
Bizcamp Tel Aviv is organized by the City of Tel Aviv and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and The Next Web is the competition’s media partner. The deadline for entries is September 2nd but don’t delay, enter today!
