Twitter’s new data dashboard helps make sure no one is trespassing on your account

Twitter’s new data dashboard helps make sure no one is trespassing on your account

Twitter wants to help you make sure you’re the only one accessing your Twitter account. Today it’s rolling out a new data dashboard to help keep tabs on who’s been accessing your information.

The dashboard is available via the settings menu on twitter.com under the ‘Your Twitter Data’ section. It will list information on when you account was activated, the individual devices that have accessed your account, and recent login history (down to the exact time). It’ll also show which apps have accessed your information, as well as the IP address attached to them.

You can then scour that information to make sure you or trusted users are the only ones accessing your account. If you notice a login from a suspicious location, your best bet is to change your password and sign up for 2-step verification for extra security.
