This hilarious MacBook Pro parody ad puts Apple in an awkward spot

After Apple’s reveal of the new MacBook Pro last week, the internet was up in arms over the laptop’s specifications. It left a lot of people wishing for more than what they’re getting.

The primary pain points include a maximum of 16 GB RAM, a relatively low-end processor and the Touch Bar, that according to some won’t be used by laptop power users.

Apple also chose to remove most ports from the device, and replaced them by future-proof USB-C. Even though it’s a smart decision in the long run, users today will have to use a bunch of dongles for their accessories to work properly.

Luckily there’s no better way to deal with a letdown than to make fun of it — and that’s exactly what YouTube Iggyhopper2 has done. By taking an ad for the Google Pixel and turning it on its head, the mock commercial takes a terrific jab at Apple’s choices.
