Stock images don’t always make sense. Case in point, this one.

At first glance it looks like two friends, relatives, or lovers enjoying a game of ‘Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ on Sony’s PlayStation 2. For the clueless, I’m talking about the original one, not the current remake of the classic version featuring CJ wreaking havoc on the streets of Los Santos.

Look closer though, and you’ll start to spot problems.

Like the PS2 not being plugged into the TV, or the wall for that matter.

Or, the fact that two people are playing a single player game. Since both appear to be past the “let your baby sister play” stage where you hand them a controller that doesn’t actually do anything, I can only assume this is drug-related.

Then, we have an issue that an observant Redditor pointed out — this isn’t even the PS2 version of San Andreas. Based on the draw distance, it appears to be the PC version Photoshopped onto the screen.

Also, I can’t be sure, but it doesn’t appear that the TV is even powered on. There doesn’t appear to be a power plug going anywhere, and there’s no LED indicator showing that it’s been powered up. Again though, can’t be sure on this one.

This just goes to show that drugs are both bad, and fun. Bad in the sense that these two are so blitzed that they have no clue they’re staring at a blank screen (remember, the image was added later), while playing a PS2 that wasn’t plugged in. But then again, where else can you have this much fun playing classic PlayStation 2 games without spending a dime on electricity, or even purchasing the game itself?
