The team at Bonnier R&D Beta Lab and BERG have put together this incredible conceptual video of how a handheld digital device could capture the essence of magazine reading.
It illustrates one possible vision for digital magazines in the near future, and frankly if Apple even get close this, we’re in for an incredible decade ahead.
If this decade’s device was the iPhone, I’m keeping my hopes up that the iTablet will be next decade’s gadget.
Thanks Scoble.

Wow. Can’t help it but to think of a 100 thousand things, ideas and new markets that this kind of technology is going to create. Not that this technology is new, rather, I think that we as human race, are ready to embrace this kinds of interfaces and interact with touch. We have been trained in the small screen, things will be a lot easier on the larger ones.
Wauw, that looks awesome. I can’t wait to see what the first real action packed tablets will look like.
Anyone know what kind of tablets there are already available?
But how comical is this.
The Tablets appeared three or four years ago and went nowhere. They were bulky, hot, slow and based on yesterdays laptop technology.
Now? We al have seen what’s possible on a mini-Tablet that fits in your pocket. And now we all have a need, a want for it.
My dilemma? Do I want a MacTablet or an iPhoneTablet.
(answer: neither…)
Pretty and clever, and I’m looking forward to its appearance IRL, but that demo could have been done in 25% of the time. Nobody lives in that sort of timescale anymore.

Its a nice device concept. This tech will definitely take off.
