Already arriving on handsets in Eastern Europe (starting in Poland), Samsung’s Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) update has now started hitting Galaxy S III handsets in South Korea, as part of a worldwide rollout.
Samsung also started pushing Jelly Bean updates to its older Galaxy Note smartphone, bringing it up to par with its new and improved Galaxy Note 2 handset.
Samsung posted press release to its Samsung Tomorrow blog, hoping domestic users download and apply the new Jelly Bean upgrade on their devices. The update is available via Samsung’s KIES software or using the over-the-air option on the handset itself.
The update brings improved performance, Google Now integration, contextual search, new Android notifications and updated Samsung apps (to name a few).

At the end of September, Samsung said Jelly Bean updates will be “gradually introduced” in other markets.
A further 15 devices will also see the new software build, including: Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Music, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini II, Galaxy S DUOS.
