Samsung has finally announced the UK availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the tablet will hit shops on Monday 1st November and will be available on all major networks.
The Galaxy Tab will be sold by Carphone Warehouse, Dixons Store Group and T-Mobile aswell as “key high street and out of town electrical retailers and online”. It is thought that the Galaxy Tab will be sold both unlocked and on subsidized contracts for consumers who wish to buy the tablet device without heavy upfront costs.
For those who don’t know much about the Samsung Galaxy Tab, it features a 1GHz processor, Android 2.2, Froyo operating system, a front facing camera for video calls and a 7-inch TFT-LCD display. It will weigh 380g, supports Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and will come with ‘Media Hub’ and ‘Music Hub’ applications, whilst all personal contact details, e-mail, calendar, social networking and instant messenger accounts, can be combined in the ‘Social Hub’.
