Microsoft’s ‘News Pro’ app for iOS leverages Bing news and social media to create your feed

Microsoft’s ‘News Pro’ app for iOS leverages Bing news and social media to create your feed

Microsoft has a new app for iOS, but it’s not that rumored keyboard. Instead, it’s leveraging Bing news to create a feed that will keep you engaged on topics you’re most interested in.

Called News Pro, the app takes your LinkedIn and Facebook account info and turns around results based on your profession and interests.

You can also choose other topics of interest, just like you can with Apple’s News app or Flipboard.

As the name suggests, this app seems to be focussed on professionals who need to know everything about an industry or area of focus quickly. I can’t say News Pro can or should replace your existing reader, but it seems to do a good job of hyping a few points of interest really well.

News Pro is available for free from the App Store.
