Starting this week, Microsoft is running a promotion for its US retail stores where it unveils a new deal for 12 days straight. There won’t be that much excitement, however, if an image allegedly leaking all the deals turns out to be accurate.
Called “12 Days of Deals,” the marketing move is the company’s way of drumming up excitement for the Microsoft Store just a week after the hype around Black Friday and Cyber Monday has died down. Yet everything has allegedly leaked out on the first day, courtesy of a forum post on Slickdeals titled “Microsoft 12 Days of Deals – The Complete List”:
If you prefer the text version, here is the day-by-day breakdown (prices are for the first 20 customers):
- December 9 – Dell Tablet for $99
- December 10 – Garmin Fitness Watch + $25 Gift card $99.99
- December 11 – AT&T Nokia 1020 for free
- December 12 – Fitbit Flex and Yurbuds Fitness Earbuds with $25 gift card for $99.99
- December 13 – GTA 5 for $20 (assume Xbox 360 only)
- December 14 – Surface Pro combo deal $100 off
- December 15 – Xbox Music pass 1 year for $30
- December 16 – HP Pavilion X2 13 for $599
- December 17 – 60 percent off SOL Republic Headphones for $40
- December 18 – AT&T Lumia 1520 Free and $50 app card with purchase
- December 19 – JBL Flip Bluetooth Speaker for $40
- December 20 – HP Envy 15 for $499
Naturally, there is no way to verify this list without waiting to see what Microsoft reveals over the next few days. The company did already announce that it will be selling Dell’s Venue 8 Pro tablet for just $99 today, but that merely means the list is correct for a known deal.
If this leak is indeed accurate, Microsoft can still mix up the order of deals to keep potential customers guessing. Other than that, the surprise has been largely stolen.
