Rovio looks like it has another Angry Birds twist up its Jedi sleeve following the launch of a new Tumblr page teasing what looks to be a collaboration with George Lucas’ Star Wars franchise.
The minimalist page (spotted by Pocket Lint) doesn’t give much away other than that it will be the home to “behind-the-scenes content, animations, comics, and much, much more” over the next few weeks and that it will to related to something depicted in the image below:
Below the image lies a date, time and place: Times Square, New York, October 8th, 10am EST and the additional hint “Head to Toys R Us at 8am EST!”

If we didn’t know better, Angry Birds will meet Star Wars in the form of collectibles, figurines and even toys (maybe even a game? Crazy.) We’ll have to wait until next week to find out.
