Samsung Pay is coming to Australia, Brazil and Singapore

Samsung Pay is coming to Australia, Brazil and Singapore

Samsung Pay — the company’s mobile payment system taking aim at both Android Pay and Apple Pay — will soon hit Australia, Brazil and Singapore.

Those countries will join the US, UK, South Korea, China and Spain as places where Samsung Pay will work.

Samsung’s technology also doesn’t require that a payment terminal has NFC, which makes it instantly usable at just about every payment terminal.

Unfortunately, we don’t know when Samsung Pay will roll out to the new territories. The company also didn’t note if other countries were being considered for Samsung Pay.
