Trello gets serious about the enterprise with new paid tier

Trello, the popular task management app, has rolled out a new tier specifically for enterprise users.

The new Trello Enterprise tier features single sign on, two factor authentication, automatic intrusion detection, file encryption and priority phone + email support.

The SSO support means large organizations can take advantage of identity providers such as Okta, OneLogin and others that utilize SAML authentication.

The move means that Trello can snap up larger clients that require these types of features. It says it already has Conde Nast, Expedia, UC Davis and EA onboard.

Trello says that it has more than 8 million users and adds 100,000 more every week.
