Amazon brings its Prime Music streaming service to the UK

Amazon brings its Prime Music streaming service to the UK

Amazon has today announced that its Prime Music streaming service is now available for members based in the UK, having previously been restricted to users in the US.

First launched in the US in June, the service allows paying Prime members (£79 per year) to freely stream its catalog of one million tracks.

While the comparatively small selection of tracks means the service isn’t likely to challenge Spotify (or other similar services) just now, it’s another nice little addition for people who have already shelled out for a year membership, and provides one more reason to sing up for people who haven’t.
