Google Docs now lets Google Apps admins distribute add-ons for entire teams

After launching an add-ons store for Google Docs last year, Google is now giving Google Apps administrators more control over how to distribute those add-ons to their teams.

The changes affect both developers and managers. Devs can now make their add-ons available for installation across entire domains, making it easier for customers to find through the Google Apps Marketplace.

Admins on the other hand can now install add-ons for their entire team in just a few steps.

Should they want more limited distribution, however, they can also now whitelist add-ons for a specific team or entire domains. Interested admins can learn more about the new process by checking out Google’s support page.
