Samsung shuts its flagship London store at Westfield

Ever been to a Samsung Experience Store? If not your options in the UK just dropped by one. Samsung has closed its flagship store at London’s Westfield Stratford City mall.

One of ten Samsung Experience Stores in the UK, the retail space has now been “permanently closed” with images of the dismantled store shared on Twitter.

While the Samsung Experience Stores carry the South Korea manufacturer’s brand they’re run by Carphone Warehouse. They were designed to showcase the best of the company’s products but have been hit by falling sales.

Samsung told The Verge that it remains “fully committed to the operation of the remaining nine Samsung Experience Stores across the UK” and that “those stores will not be affected” by the closure of the Westfield branch.

If you’re in London and itching to check out the Samsung experience, you can still visit its Oxford Street branch.
