Google’s Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus Player are now available from the Play Store

Google’s Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus Player are now available from the Play Store

Although you’ve been able to pre-order them since October 17, the Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus Player streaming box are now officially available from Google Play in the US.

The Nexus 9 is shipping now – it’s listed as in-stock and shipping within 1-2 days for its ‘Indigo Black’  and ‘Lunar White’ color options. The ‘Sand’ color still only says “coming soon”, however. Also, just the Wi-Fi only variants are available – you’ll have to wait longer for LTE.

The Nexus Player for its part is also no longer listed as a pre-order, but you still won’t be able to get it right away: Google Play notes the devices as shipping within 2-3 weeks.

The Nexus 9 will cost you $399 or $479 for the 16GB or 32GB options, respectively, whereas the Nexus Player sells for $99.
