Just Eat gobbles up London-based food ordering app Orogo to bolster its collection service

British fast-food ordering and delivery service Just Eat has announced it’s acquired London-based takeaway app Orogo.

The latter allows users to place an order at a variety of different restaurants in the UK capital and then collect it without needing to queue. Orogo will continue to operate independently, headed by its founders Christoph Lippuner and Mikael Landau.

The announcement follows Just Eat’s IPO at the beginning of April, at which time it told TNW that the money would go towards formalizing its food collection service. With today’s acquisition, it seems the company has just taken another step in that direction.
