At its annual customer conference in September, cloud storage service Box unveiled a new Preview feature aimed at helping users quickly browse through their files in an efficient manner. The company shared today that its new document preview tool has begun rolling out to its users.
The new Preview feature leverages HTML5 technology to display documents and content easily across any device while also giving “more control” to users over their files. It incorporates functionality from Crocodoc, a company Box acquired in May. At Boxworks, company CEO Aaron Levie said that users could interact with files without needing to open up third-party applications.
