BBM for iOS and Android gets one step closer with arrival of user guides

We’ve known that BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) would be making its way across to the rival iOS and Android mobile platforms at some point before the end of the summer, but it would seem that reality just got one step closer with the arrival of user guides for the apps on the official BlackBerry website.

Unsurprisingly, they contain exactly what you’d expect in a user guide: a list of features and how to carry out basic tasks like adding BBM contacts, initiating BBM chats, using emoticons and sounds, all the usual fare.

The guides also confirm the features of the apps on iOS and Android, which sadly means no voice or video calling or screen sharing. They do, however, support voice notes and BBM Groups.
