You can now register to vote during Virgin America flights

Starting today, you will now be able to register to vote for the next President of the United States of America in the comfort of your seat on an Virgin America flight.

In a partnership with Rock the Vote and PromoJam, you’ll be able to use the fancy Virgin touchscreen to sign yourself up to choose the future of the country. Right now, a flight from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. is letting its passengers take part to kick everything off. This is a promotion to celebrate its new route from SFO to Reagan National Airport.

This is how it works:

As of Tuesday, guests on Virgin America flights will be able to use their smartphones to scan a QR code on the airline’s Red seatback entertainment platform to register to vote.
