Google Calendar’s new Web reminders keep you on task across platforms

Google Calendar’s new Web reminders keep you on task across platforms

Reminders has been a very cool feature in Google Calendar’s mobile offering: insert a task like you would an event, and you’ll get a push notification to complete that task at a specific time. Google apparently thinks it’s cool too, as the company announced today that Reminders will roll out to the web.

Reminders will stay in the top of your calendar until you complete them, and stay alongside your events and meetings. These Reminders can also be originated in a few of Google’s other properties, including Inbox and Keep, so you don’t have to keep your calendar open perpetually to set up new tasks.

Finally, and most importantly: all Reminders sync across platforms, so your mobile Reminders now show up on your desktop. Nifty.
