Google Glass continues to die slow as social media accounts shuttered

Google Glass is dead to us all. Over the weekend, Google gently culled its social media presence, instead directing the few remaining users to seek help in support forums.

The reason for the pullback is Google’s ongoing work with Glass as an enterprise solution. The ‘Glass for Work’ program is reportedly burgeoning within Google, so the team is focussing energy there rather than its slick consumer facade.

It’s the latest (and possibly most visible) turndown for Glass, which has been slowly peeled away from us after an embarrassing launch and beta period.

So unless you’re part of Google’s enterprise efforts for Glass, don’t expect to see much about it on Twitter, Google+ or Instagram.
