Google adds new grading, feedback and assignment features to its Classroom app

A year ago, Google marked Teacher Appreciation Week in the US by announcing the arrival of Google Classroom.

Today, in celebration of the anniversary, Google is adding new features to the platform, such as the ability to grade assignments on phones and give private feedback notes to individual pupils.

It is also now possible to make an assignment or edit one from your phone or tablet and make personalized copies for every student.

Assignments and posts can be made from photos taken on your device so it’s easy to upload anything you’ve written on the whiteboard during a class

Google says that since its launch last year, more than 70 million assignments have been submitted via Classroom.
