Google invites developers to purchase Glass as it woos them to create purpose-built apps

Google invites developers to purchase Glass as it woos them to create purpose-built apps

Google has sent out invitations to developers to buy Google Glass, Engadget notes, as the company speeds up efforts to boost the Glass experience before a public release in the not so distant future.

Google-Glass-Developer

This comes after Google invited developers to a two-day hackathon in San Francisco earlier this month, where it unveiled its Glassware Development Kit, giving developers access to tools necessary to design a native Glass experience.

Google has been updating Google Glass before the release of the device to its Explorer program later this year, and an official accessory store quietly came online at the end of last month. All of these moves play towards Google wanting a complete Glass experience for the wider public upon release.
