Google on Wednesday  began making movies on Google Play available for rental and purchase in India and Mexico, bringing the total number of countries to 13.

A spokesperson for Google confirmed the rollout, which was first noted in a support document.

The full list of countries with movie rental and purchase support now includes: US, UK, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, and Spain.

Google made its first foray into Google Play content in India with the release of the Books section there last month. The company also recently began direct sales of its Nexus 7 tablet in the country via the online store.
