Google highlights Javascript with Chrome Experiments site

Google has launched a gallery site called Chrome Experiments to highlight cool things being done with Javascript, regardless of browser (but obviously Chrome is the browser Google would like you to use to view them).

With a tagline like “Not your mother’s Javascript” not everyone is going to be rushing to this site day in and day out, but certainly some of the experiments are interesting. There are currently 102 “experiments” listed in the gallery, with a few of the ones on the homepage by Mr Doob, the developer that created the Mutli-User Sketchpad that we covered last week (and which is also featured on the Chrome Experiments homepage).

Google has set up a page for submissions, saying “We’re looking for projects that experiment with JavaScript and the browser. Whatever that means to you, we want to see it!”
