This short video shows how easy it is to set up Google’s new Wifi router

Ahead of its US release next month, Google has taken to its official YouTube channel to share a short video detailing the configuration process for its brand new router, Wifi.

Judging by the clip, setting up Wifi couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is hook up the included USB-C cable for power, plug in an ethernet from your existing modem, then switch over to a mobile application to choose a network name and password.

Once you’ve set up your first Wifi unit, you can use the application to add additional ones. Fortunately, the extra routers don’t need to be attached to the modem. Instead, you simply connect them to a power source and pair them with the app.

The intention here is that all of the additional Wifi hubs communicate with the main one that’s connected to the modem in order to give you super snappy Internet anywhere in your home or office.

Google hasn’t started accepting orders for its Wifi router yet. It is, however, expected to do so later this month — so be sure to keep your eyes feasted on the Google Store if you want to pick one up.

As for pricing, a single pack will cost $129, while a 3-pack will carry a price tag of $299.
