Open your wine with a drill gun. The Bosch IXO Vino isn’t foolin’ around

Open your wine with a drill gun. The Bosch IXO Vino isn’t foolin’ around

I think you can card this one up as one for only serious wine freaks. The Bosch IXO Vino is a cordless drill with a corkscrew attachment. So it’s basically stolen right from one of my late-night Pinot-soaked invention sessions.

The IXO Vino comes with a cordless drill, a corkscrew adapter and a charging dock, all packed into a charming wooden wine box. The drill has a light for those classy candlelit dinners when you’re opening bottles so fast you can’t bother with a standard opener any more.

The whole kit runs £39.99 from Amazon UK. I can’t find it on the US store. I’m not sure what that means besides that the market for a powered wine opener is stronger across the pond. Hard to imagine, but the evidence speaks for itself!

Oh and yes, you can still use it to put up shelving in a comfy sweater, so there’s that.
