Instagram is giving you a bit more control over what you see on your feed. In a comment to the Washington Post, the company said it will soon let you filter comments on your own post.
Instagram recently introduced this feature for businesses, allowing them to auto-hide any comments with offensive words and phrases. The feature appears under a ‘Comment Moderation’ sub-menu of your app settings.
According to the Post’s description, you will have a bit of finesse over what gets moderated, since people are offended by different things. You’ll also be able to turn comments off on a case-by-case basis – or altogether.
Instagram says “high-profile” account will be the first to see the feature go live, but all users will have access “in the coming months.”
