Facebook rolls out Instant Articles to all Android users

Facebook rolls out Instant Articles to all Android users

Nearly two months after rolling out to all iOS users, Facebook is finally bringing its Instant Article technology to all of its Android users.

If you’re not familiar, Instant Articles are stories designed to load natively within Facebook’s mobile apps, which lessens the time between tapping the article and when you can read it – hence the name.

The feature first launched on iOS as with a small batch of test users in May, and began public testing with a subset of Android users in November. It includes content from over 350 established publishers around the world so far (including Yours Truly).

Now that it’s available to most smartphone users, you can expect the number of publications involved to grow rapidly.
