We’re getting excited about our upcoming trip to the capital city of England for the first London Web Summit, or as the cool kids call it, LWS.
Folks like Niklas Zennstrom (Kazaa, Skype, Atomico), Google’s Nikesh Arora and Zynga’s Marcus Segal will be speaking at the event on March 19th, but also some up-and-coming startup founders like Edial Dekker (Gidsy), Nick D’Aloisio (Summly) and investors like Accel’s Sonali De Rycker and Earlybird’s Jason Whitmire.
Evidently, this is an event The Next Web does not want to miss. We also don’t want to miss out on meeting the cream of the crop of Europe’s technology startup scene, so leave a note in the comments or ping me on Twitter if you want to have a chat.
LWS, which is co-curated by my former colleague Mike Butcher and Dublin Web Summit organizer Paddy Cosgrave, will feature 20 startups at the event with the winning company obtaining a prize package of over £35,000.
Here’s to hoping for loads of kick-ass demos from budding entrepreneurs at The Brewery in less than two weeks. Our expectations are high.
You can register for LWS here (but if you’re a startup, best click here first).
