Websites are looking weird because Web font service TypeKit is down

Internet looking sort of funny today? Adobe’s TypeKit is partially down, meaning some websites that utilise its hosted Web fonts are loading incorrectly.

I’ve checked across my various sites that leverage TypeKit for fonts and all of them are affected by the outage, instead loading the fallback fonts I specified (ew, Arial).

If you use TypeKit fonts it’s worth checking if your site uses the new asynchronous script so that the font service’s outage isn’t blocking your site from loading.

Amazon’s cloud service is also having issues right now, which may be related.

Update: It’s back! The Web looks pretty again!
