Duet Display now lets you turn your iPad Pro into a graphics tablet

Quite quickly, Duet Display has become the iPad’s killer app. So, what does it do? In a nutshell, it allows the user to transform their iPad into a second display. Handy, right?

Well, it’s about to get even better, provided you have an iPad Pro. Duet Display Pro now supports the Apple Pencil. This means that you can draw on your iPad, and have it show up on your computer, much like a graphics tablet would.

Duet Display has also been updated to make drawing more responsive, and to allow for better color quality and color correction. It also includes hover functionality and palm rejection, which should prevent accidental impressions.

If you’re convinced, you can download Duet Display from the App Store for $9.99. The Duet Display Pro features are available as a $20 annual subscription. You’ll need a Mac running OS X 10.9 Yosemite or later, or a PC running Windows 8 or 10. And an iPad Pro, obviously.

Your move, Wacom.
