Sling TV is bringing NFL Network and Red Zone to cord cutters this Fall

Sling TV is bringing NFL Network and Red Zone to cord cutters this Fall

This Fall, even cord cutters will be able to watch football. Sling TV has announced it is bringing the NFL Network and NFL Redzone to subscribers later this year.

We don’t know exactly when the content will arrive; Sling only says users should expect it “in the coming weeks” and that it will roll out fully by the time football season is here. It joins PlayStation Vue as an option for NFL Redzone without the need for a subscription to cable.

“NFL Network and NFL RedZone elevate our offering in time for the highly anticipated NFL season” says Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV. “This NFL season, Sling TV customers will have access to game coverage spanning across multiple networks. Our customizable packaging continues to be industry leading, benefiting Sling TV customers by empowering them to choose what they want.”

NFL Network will offer Thursday Night Football as well as the shows NFL GameDay Morning, A Football Life, TIMELINE and Good Morning Football.

Pricing hasn’t been set, and Sling isn’t committing to how it will package these two new networks. It’s possible they will be a standalone add-on, or be worked into existing sports packages Sling already has on offer.
