Sonos users eagerly anticipating support for Apple’s new streaming platform won’t have to wait much longer. In a blog post, Sonos revealed Apple Music will arrive on December 15 in beta form.
Users under a family plan can set up to six different accounts, allowing everyone to use their own playlists and library selection.
It’s one of the first cases of the streaming service being available for platforms not related to Apple. The company recently brought Apple Music to Android, showing it’s a bit more willing to reach out beyond its usual demographic.
Because it’s a beta, Sonos is requesting feedback from users who opt into trying the service. You can opt into the beta – perhaps to try them out on a new Play:5 speaker – by signing up here.
