This stupid game turns a major Chrome bug into fun

The latest build of Chrome has a fairly major bug that can cause the browser to crash with a special URL, but one developer is taking that bug and trying to turn it into some fun.

%%30%30 is a game that lets you follow a maze of emoji with your cursor, avoiding deadly trees on your way to the end. Here’s the thing: those deadly trees will crash your browser if you hit them.

The crash is caused by Chrome not knowing how to properly handle escaped URLs. Even though Chrome’s tabs run in separate processes, it can sometimes take down other tabs with it.

It’ll likely be fixed within the next day or two, but in the meantime, take advantage of a terrible bug and enjoy crashing your browser in the name of fun.
