Inbox by Gmail is getting a delete button and signature support but no ‘mark unread’ option

If you’re a fan of Inbox by Gmail, but frustrated by its lack of a single button to send messages to the trash and support for signatures, here’s some good news – that’s being fixed. If you want a ‘mark as unread’ option, well…

Android Police’s Artem Russakovskii was kvetching on Google+ about the missing features and got a reply from the team working on the app:

So there you have it, the app will get a ‘delete’ button and the ability to add your personal details to the bottom of your messages, but ‘mark unread’ just doesn’t fit with the philosophy.
