Curator, Twitter’s answer to Storify, is now publicly open to media organizations

Earlier this year, Twitter teased Curator, its own media aggregation tool that combines select tweets and vines into an embeddable collection. Today, Curator is now publicly available to media organizations.

Those qualified to try out the free service can head to curator.twitter.com and sign in with their Twitter account. Curator will let you search for content and pull in any relevant tweets and vines to create a collection.

You can also use Curator to see real-time insights on different topics being discussed on Twitter, such as total number of tweets and authors, and even the genders of said authors.

The tool is designed to accompany live events so organizations can create hashtags and showcase relevant tweets in real time. According to TechCrunch, Curator is able to natively search for Periscope streams to add to the collection as well.
