Uber cuts prices in 48 cities, guaranteeing driver earnings

Uber is yet again slashing prices for its rides in many of its newer cities — 48 to be exact — across the United States.

Cities including San Diego, Atlanta, Salt Lake City and others will see cheaper rides for the duration of the winter season. The company will guarantee driver earnings during this time, to ensure they have “certainty and comfort” with the price cuts.

Uber may do more of these types of promotions, with the company saying it “expects that these seasonal price cuts will help bring newer Uber markets in line with our larger ones.”
