Tetris is the heroin of video games. You can’t just play one game. You have to play at least five games. Okay, maybe ten.
Starting today you can play the highly addictive game on the Roku 3 and Roku Streaming stick with HDMI. The game is free to download if you just want to play in Marathon mode. But if you more than one game playing option, it’ll cost you $4.99.
Apparently it’s the 30 year anniversary of the game. That’s 30 years of having that song stuck in your head and learning how to cram boxes together.
Roku has long boasted about the number of apps (it calls them Channels) available for its platform including games. Like most app stores, a lot of those apps aren’t worth mentioning but with the Tetris news today, the Roku finally got a game that makes sense on a streaming device.
Actually it makes sense on all devices because Tetris.
