Citymapper adds ‘Meet Me Somewhere’ feature to its native Android app

Citymapper adds ‘Meet Me Somewhere’ feature to its native Android app

Citymapper, an app for easily navigating your way around a number of various urban metropolises, has added a new feature to its Android offering today which allows users to easily designate a place to meet when out-and-about.

Although the feature isn’t entirely new – it’s been available on the Web and iOS versions for a while already – it is still a welcome addition. In order to use it, you simply need to click the Meet Me Somewhere option and select your current location. Alternatively, you can search for a specific address and share that instead.

The feature follows the addition of Boston and Washington DC to its Android app back in May and, frankly, anything that reduces the need to type out long street addresses is welcomed by us.
