Spotify starts quietly rolling out a new look for its Android, Windows and Mac apps

Spotify has updated its Android, Windows and Mac apps today to introduce new features like a new look for the Android log in and sign up pages, and a darker overall theme for the software on a Mac or Windows machine.

Rolling out from today, the updates also add image galleries and track play counts to the artist pages in the Android app.

A similar update that brings a few tweaks to the appearance of the desktop client – such as larger fonts, new graphics and a darker overall look – is also apparently rolling out for some Windows (shown above) and Mac users, according to The Verge. Strangely, when we asked Spotify for more details about the update, a spokesperson said the company had nothing to share at this point.
