Timehop adds friend messaging to its iOS app

Timehop adds friend messaging to its iOS app

Timehop has released new updates for its iOS app bringing in ways to better communicate with those friends that were with you in those special moments days, months, or even years ago. With Messages, it turns the service away from just a read-only app, but into more of a social media offering.

In today’s release, the company is offering capabilities that include being able to chat with friends, send photos to multiple recipients, send notes to those you chat with most frequently, and share to Facebook and Twitter.

With these new features, the company could be looking to bring more engagement into its app by allowing friends to connect with one another without pushing them out to third-party services.
