Google+ Android app gets a massive upgrade with new share view

As Vic Gundotra of Google stood on stage at Google I/O discussing how the Google+ project was coming along, it was announced that a new version of its Android app is available today.

With a brand new way of going through your stream in landscape mode, you will be able to browse through all of the items in your stream, with importance placed on the most popular items.

It’s a beautiful visual experience to just swipe through all of this content and decide on which piece you would like to dig into.

Nothing new has been announced for the iPhone app, but I would expect for the new version to come its way soon. The Google+ team has done an impressive job keeping all of its apps for different platforms consistently designed.
