You can now drag and drop images into Google Docs

You can now drag and drop images into your Google Docs documents directly from your desktop to save you time while working on your next creation. It works like this:

This will only work in recent editions of Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. Google has plans to add support for other browsers in the future.

Given all the hubbub between Google Docs and Office 365, expect to see Google trumpet any changes it makes to its productivity suite. This should be live for you right now.
