If you’re looking to pick up a previous-gen iPhone (which is still a great choice, by the way), now’s a good time to do so.
9to5Mac noted that Apple has begun selling refurbished iPhones through its online store. While it’s offered computers, tablets and accessories, the last time it offered phones in its online refurb store was way back in 2007.
You can now buy a refurbished iPhone 6s at $449 for the 16GB variant, or a 6s Plus at $529 for 16GB and $589 for 64GB, in all four colors and with free shipping and returns. That means you stand to save about 15 percent of the price of a new device.
In addition to spending less on Apple gear, you’ll also get a full 1-year factory warranty. The company says that it ships refurbished devices with brand new batteries and outer shells, so you probably won’t even be able to tell that your device isn’t fresh off the assembly line.
Head to Apple’s store to check out its refurbished offerings.
