iPad Air 3 to arrive this Spring, but a new Apple Watch may be delayed until the Fall

iPad Air 3 to arrive this Spring, but a new Apple Watch may be delayed until the Fall

Apple’s rumored March announcement may bring new Apple Watch bands and partnerships, but likely not any new hardware.

Additionally, 9to5Mac is reporting watchOS 2.2 — which recently launched as a beta for developers — may see its way to consumers at this March event.

New bands are reportedly made of a new material, though it’s not clear if Apple is updating its polyelastomer material or not. The new bands are also said to come in colors not yet seen before from Apple.

While Apple’s Spring event remains a bit shrouded in mystery, 9to5 is currently pigeonholing it to the week of March 14. The event could also bring a new iPad Air 3, and it seems Apple has yet to cement a date for its event because it’s waiting to see if the tablet will be ready in time.
