Those of you with Apple TVs will be excited to hear that the company will provide a live stream from today’s WWDC 2013 event from the Moscone Center in San Francisco. (Update: it will be available on the Apple website too although Apple says “Live Streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.”).
MacRumors spotted that an “Apple Events” channel has surfaced on Apple TV, a clear indicator that the firm will provide video coverage of the keynote presentations, and perhaps more. Apple is yet to make an official announcement confirming the live stream or what it will cover, but the appearance of the channel is a sure fire sign that it is planning something.
The channel also provides videos of older events.

The firm has offered live streams infrequently, and MacRumors that it last broadcast live events to Apple TV users for the launch of the iPad mini in October. That could be taken as a sign of the significance of the event and its planned announcements.
Those giddy with excitement based on iOS 7 speculation and other rumors now have permission to get even more hyped about the event, which is less than six hours away.
